they can fly, they can learn to talk and whistle tunes,they have lovely soft feathers, their cages don't smell, their curiosity and mannerisms are oh so entertaining, they are very affectionate (well, cockatiels are anyway), they're great companions when studying/ reading/ doing pretty much anything around the house as they sit on your shoulder, AND they're just so darn cute!
Naaawh! I really don't get what's so great about birds though...
